Opinions of Cabinet ministers on a question posed by the Prime Minister, 1831

Papers to be read by Cabinet or for their opinion, were normally left on the table in the Cabinet Room in the Foreign Office, then in one of the houses on the west side of Downing Street. Members of the Cabinet wrote their opinions and left them in the box. This paper is Lord Palmerston’s response to the Prime Minister’s question whether a letter to William IV from Prince Czartoryski, President of the unrecognised Polish government, should be presented to the King.
